Dear friends,
It has been quiet from us for a while as the group has taken a well deserved break following an intense 2025, culminating in a truly wonderful and memorable Christmas tour with Bohuslän Big Band. This time has given us the opportunity to rest, reflect, and look ahead. With this message, we want to let you know that Maria has made the decision to step down as a member of Stockholm Voices as we continue our journey.
Since the group's inception in 2012, Maria has been an incredible asset to Stockholm Voices. In recent years, she has played a vital role in shaping the group's artistic direction and in bringing many of our musical projects to life. We have all cherished the opportunity to sing alongside Maria, and especially to hear her warm and soulful voice on songs such as Om natten, Calico Skies, and Everyone's a Kid at Christmas. Working so closely together over many years creates a special bond, and we are deeply grateful to have grown and developed alongside Maria throughout this journey.
Working with Stockholm Voices requires a great deal of time and dedication during certain periods, and we are all excited to see where Maria's path will lead her next. We wish her success and happiness in whatever comes next, and we are thankful for the memories we've shared over nearly fifteen years as colleagues, singers, and friends.
